It's like every other board I read on the internet. I like it. I like being able to know it's really shadis, really next and really me posting. I wish more ppl would post here. I hope it starts to pick up. Maybe we should start a flame war!
I hate signatures!

HTML is not recognized at all, and I don't think the buttons for bold type, quote, italics etc when you're entering a comment are recognized either, it just displays as ASCII only.

Initially they were all working, but of course it was abused almost immediately so hence that option was taken away. Sad isn't it?

Also if you use preview, it changes apostrophes etc to ISO character codes which is a bit ******* weird, but there ya go. Ya get that on the big jobs I guess.

I've found that when it asks you to go into visual mode and you cancel the html crap doesn't crap the post out

that said

besides the clumsiness of hits engine, there are so many differeent topics to look under when the old crier had just town crier and auction

in then end we are going to end up just usning oen of them anyways

This board's GUI is a little clunky, and it is very graphics/bandwidth intensive.<BR><BR>I suppose I will get used to it, though.&nbsp; I got used to the old o&shy;ne...<BR><BR>-Qa.<BR>

I'd like to echo that there are too many forums. It's just hard to scan to see whats going on. The classes for example, instead of having a forum for each class how about a forum that says classes and 8 threads in there, one per class. Then you could disable the ability to post new threads and call it done.

The login buttons near the top don't seem to work still. I'm logging in with the boxes on the left, which seems to work.

Other than that I'm getting used to the general "busy-ness" of the site. I'd think about changing the background textures that look like stone and wood - the wood especially, it does some wierd things to the toolbar to the left, with the main buttons that say "Home, Live Info, Royal Library..." it's got sort of a backgammon look. I'd pick a basic set of 4 or 5 shades that you like and work well together, and use those as a standard. Straight colors will compress better than textures, too. Using the same set of colors across the site will give it a more 'crafted' look than the current.

Just some opinions...later,

Charles

I requested the equipment forum, because when I do have time to update the eqlist, I don't want to be going through all the threads to see which ones have new eq posted to them. However, I agree, there's just way too many. It takes me a long time to scan all the lists and figure out when the last post was (though the recent change will probably help that).
