How do players supposed to pick this up?

Magnolia
The path curves around a large magnolia tree, almost forty feet high.
It is covered with large white flowers, which emit a strong, sweet scent.
The path is edged with stone blocks, possibly in an attempt to stop it
from slipping down the slope toward the sea.
Exits: East South West
A glowing, sparkling nothingness glitters in midair.
A brightly colored ornate glass bottle lies on the ground here. [2]
A large fountain is here gurgling out an endless stream of water.
A large note dispenser, with a button on the top, is here against the wall.
A magical contraption, the shadowgram, floats just above the Magnolia.
A large bulletin board is mounted on a wall here.
A seagull flies around, looking for handouts.
A sailor in filthy clothing staggers and nearly falls beside you.

but yes it probably needs fixing. its junk anyways

I believe we the players can use any mud client we want and still enjoy the game at full.
This particular matter is just design not thought throught well enough.

and I never said you couldn't use whatever client you want.

ask immortal to look at you so they see item vnum then they can fix it

Well, thanks and everything, but I have an suggestion of removing the "of breathing" part.

A glowing, sparkling charm of breathing glitters in midair.

AFAIR, the design unwritten rules say, the player must get the basic idea of what the item is by seeing it, and when a player sees the charm - they cant say if it is 'of breathing' or no, they can know it by trying to use, but not before that by just looking.
What this charm item is looks like? What is its shape, form?

A glowing, sparkling "something-shaped" charm glitters in midair.

OR

A glowing, sparkling charm "in form of something" glitters in midair.

Maybe good practise is to not say in descriptions that it is a charm at all, and put that in 'exam' part...

When I change and save an object it doesn't change any pre-existing copies of that object. And yes I was too lazy to gather and destroy any that were laying around.
