Necro Spell

Postby Aeolus » Tue Feb 20, 2007 3:34 pm

I am not sure if this has been suggested before. Could you have a Necro spell that can summon the corpse of a player? You would probably need to make it so that person was standing in the same room and somehow gave the Necro permission so people didn't steal corpses. Also the corpse would appear on the ground not in the caster's inventory or anything. Probably be a high level spell w/decent mana cost.

What, so you don't have to do a CR? No.

Cleric Spell

Postby Mosaix » Tue Feb 20, 2007 6:01 pm

I would like to propose on this thread of thinking below a new cleric spell.

Raise Dumbass, or Raise Didntplanforthismobtohitsohard

My favorite CR of all time was helping to get eq back from the eternal flame the player thought they could solo for drachma.

The cleric would be able to type
"Raise Forgotforsakenswampisleathalwhenidontthink " for example without leaving/relocating/ or being disturbed from their own current run. Your dead on Thule and a cleric is on lyme....NO PROBLEM, its fixed from afar.

This would save the cleric time/energy/and the pain of raising the stupid and frequently dead.

Also raises should award the cleric 5 drachma a raise. If it was for something really really stupid maybe 10drachma :)

Thanks in advance!!

Mosaix :)

Heh yeah, and +10 drachma for the tank every time it dies after taking the hits for the rest of the group, and -10 drachma for all the clericy types who still have mana available but 'forgot' to heal the aforementioned tank.

Laugh, you'd get a kick of how I died to the flame then. It didn't show up on scan and I was using telnet at the time, so I didn't have all the pretty colors. I thought it was an object, and it slayed me and I was standing there trying to figure out what it was for.

omfg that was TOO damn funny! but you forgot the ever-dead tank, Firebrand, who apparently tanks unlit and in her regen gear.

You utter the words "rescue tank"

Firebrand appears in the room bleeding everywhere and making a really big mess.

"squaw no gettum firewood. squaw go home!" --wendy --> disney's peter pan
Yeah bringing you another disturbing creation from the mind of one sick animal who can't tell the difference and gets stupified.

We already have a spell that summons your corpse for you, it's a mage spell called FAMILIAR.
The perfect blend of poetry and meanness..
