friends list modification

I've been pretty well impressed with the friends list feature and was thinking...
Especially in the light of the recent upsurge of pthief activity, could there be a modification or a new list where the other person doesn't have to have you on their list? Then you could see when someone logs on (but not where, if they don't also have you on their list), and possibly add a (mutual) flag to people who have you listed as well so you continue seeing "Kjartan logged on in Godsland," as well as "Harlot logged on...somewhere..."

Harlot would be on your enemy list? *sniff* but why? he was just trying to make the mud a more fun place by stealing and annoying newbie's and good people. He's just a poor boy, misunderstood... thats all... a humble pthief.
