Clan channel

Postby Alberich » Sun Nov 13, 2005 12:09 pm

channels are cool, and clan channels are very cool. however, one of the best things about channels, is going ld so people know you're dead. any way we could get like a 'so-and-so has died!' message added to clan channel (far fetched, i know) or just at least have person leave channel when they drop link?
Don't be stupid - we have politicians for that

That feature of channels is basically a bug; I know you guys love it so I manage to restrain myself and not fix it, but it takes a struggle to do so every time I think about it.

Thank you, quick guys, seems like I'll receive my grats till the next bday. :))

Yes, there are some hairy polar bears in St-Petersburg, they don't drink vodka (shop assistants usually don't sell em any), but they do eat borsch.[/quote]

If I get it right "borsch" is just a some kind of red-beet soup. Yes, It should be excelent dish for cold winter days with vodka drink and bear meat. And I've heard about another interesting dish for summer period:

"Russians refresh themselves with this cold soup made of ice-cold kvass (weird national drink most closely compared to non-alcoholic beer), sausage, cucumbers, onions, boiled eggs and sour cream - just imagine this horrendous concoction!!... And guess what they call this "soup" ... They call it "ohkroshka"...

Pretty difficult to articulate, huh? And now get ready for a translation.
"Ohkroshka" means "oh baby!"

:D

You can get kvass in Texas at spots - there are a lot of russians there, I guess. It seemed to me halfway between beer and coke. I just drank it straight; can't say I enjoyed it.
