Looks like a good photoshopt manipulation.. those holes are just too deep to not see any bone.. Plus the guy looks like he took the picture at his computer desk.. Pretty sure if i had holes in my finger tips like that.. I wouldnt be typing on the computer..

I have to admit though, it does make me sick.. that would be nasty if it were real

Actually, I think the grey spots are bone... There also appears to be some burn marks (whitish stuff) under the holes. Don't

I had a totally different take. If you've seen an Anime called Vampire Hunter D, there was a character with a mouth in the palm of his hand. It would bite people or something, and I think it was posessed or something. Anyway, it kind of looks like someone has added teeth and a throat to the fingers.

Great anime, but the "face" was on the palm of the hand. And that doesn't
look like teeth. I believe it's the skin, then "fat cells", under the nail roots?
The grey I have no clue, doesn't seem like bones but maybe...

The only reason I haven't decided it was a photoshop yet is because of the teeth Charles. If you look, they actually follow the fingerprint, which is a pretty good trick for a photoshop. Then again, I can't think of anything that could cauterize like this has. I'd have to call it a burn if it was real, but I can't think of a type it would fit into. Electrical, acid, cold and heat don't seem to fit.

I'd imagine the skin around those 'burns' would also be substantially inflamed if it were real.
