just fyi, the poprate is not that bad. there are worse.
its poprate is somewhere between the eternal flame AQ pop and she shadow pauldrons

i just checked and i know exactly why your are having issues.

that area was in way before there was shapeshift,
hence its not poor coding but possibly an oversight.
(one that in my opinion doesn't need to be corrected)

it is set to hunt, so whomever coded it, intended players to die..
besides, where is the fun in shapeshifting and just walking through DoT?

Already told teker he could change it but not to rush it because if done wrong it can break other stuff

Most of the areas being mentioned are mine and I certainly do not want them made easier.

If any changes go in which do alter the difficulty of said areas, I will adjust them accordingly:)

Dark cloaking w/ avatar permasanct should be in the code at next reboot.

Also:
- added weather variables in MSDP under CHARACTER_LOCATION if outside.
- fixed some issues with clan invites and multi-word clan names
- another fix for spellbooks in shops
- aegis spell now defaults to self if no target specified
- some of you already spotted that decaying items show message when sleeping (like dark mace)
- fixed avatar level information is MSDP under CHARACTER_ACHIEVEMENTS

Awesome news Teker, can't wait!

Been noticing a few things not being destroyed lately. There is two undestroyed sidhe's in my vault, they already nicked my gems and didn't give me a rune. Also in hades there is a portal s of gatekeeper that's still "up." All this after a Christmas present wiped out my inv, and breeze had some issue with something that last crashed the mud twice. There is enough circumstantial evidence to suggest something isn't right.

The gem/rune/nicked thing isn't a bug..

however the sidhe still being there is, sort of.

The 2 crashes were due to me trusting the mudl manual when it said it was safe to destroy a mob/obj when its script was doing certain things.

Specifically I was fixing the firebird which afaik no one tested yet.

Will test the firebird when we can get a group together that wants to hit it.

Dark cloak now works on avatar perm sanct, timer is for 4mins, but should do the trick. Thanks very much for the change!
