The entrance is just off Matterhorn (12wn4d4n2e2se from West Gate).
The area seems to be split into 3 parts:
1. The "healthy, everything is going wonderfully well" forest - there are only 2 mobs here, Ritchie the Bard and the Exhausted Elf.
2. The next part is the undead area - mostly 4-5 mil undead chop mobs + another elf, + a patrol. Have visage up here.
There is also a 60mil mob here called the Unicorn which pops an autoquest item.
3. The big group part (the castle) is next (you will need a black traitor's key from one of the three vampiric squires (70k mobs) in the undead part). There are 6-7 group mobs here ranging from 30 to 60-70 mil. There is at least 1 blocker mob (Dead Man) that will instantly kill the leader if he tries to go through the door in his room. The He-groll also blocks east of him. The cps for the shoulderguards of woven flesh (0.8 + 1 Max Con) appear to pop here.
There are 2 2-3 mil ambushing mobs in the entrance to part 3 (albino tigertaurs) which stab you for 300+ hps through sanc before the fight unless you attack them first. On killing them they also stab you for another 300 hps...
Very thin though 
There are also 4 5 mil ethereal mobs in this area (mage/warrior spirits). During the opener quest the mage spirits had a proc that killed the tank before the first round ended... Rita said it was only set to 100% for the quest...so take your chances.
We haven't confirmed this but a new epic mob, Fox Direheart is also in this area and is probably in part 3.

The shoulderguards of woven flesh enchantment cost 6 million coins and required volcanic shoulder guards in addition to the components that popped in the area itself. Xenobius was the enchanter.
Null in the Palace of Thalassass has a new autoquest which is completed using one of the guards cps (phial).
