Greetings!

After a nearly a year of design and construction, I am pleased to announce we will be holding an
opener quest this Sunday around Noon Central US Time. There will be some new EQ and Mobs along
with some special rewards for participants. In addition, there will be a secondary quest that will last
until Saturday at 12:00 a.m. Central US Time that will be open for players to take advantage of during
the week.

The new area is a great undertaking, and I'd like to take this time to thank the immortal staff in
helping out with the construction and review of a total of eleven new zones and over 550 rooms
as well as several new epics and several new forges to undertake to expand our player options.
Also, I'd like to take time to make special praise for the time and effort that Teker has spent
bringing the visions of this new venture to life by way of his skills and help. Be sure to give him
thanks when you see him next. The new zones are sure to bring some much needed and desired
content and challenges to the game as well as opening the doors for additional content down the line.

So, bring your thinking caps and anticipate a bit of challenge. All are welcomed to join. We will
will meet when the quest begins at West Gate in Bal Harbor. At the conclusion of the regular
quest, we will reveal and/or discuss the secondary quest that will last for the entire week if
you don't discover it during the quest.

Thanks for playing, and we hope to see you guys at the quest! And remember: Not all challenges
shall require the use of a sword or spell :)

Quick update:

As promised, the Maze section of Nessus can now be shaowwalked through as can the entire zone
be tracked within. I do, however, want to make a note here: at no time was it intended to have the
maze traversed normally while shifted. Please make no mistake that this will be addressed at some
point in time as the proc that governs those rooms is a relatively new type, and like most new things,
may require a tweak here and there. If the behavior of the mae changes, I will make a note here or
elsewhere on the forum.

I started work on the winterblade tonight by soloing Ivan. I eventually loaded 2 hilts and 2 blades. I took them to the gypsy blacksmith to forge into a Raven's Fires only to find the forge proc is broken. Checked logs from my last Raven's Fire forge and definitely think something is broken as "forge fire" worked then. Forge now appears to forge the hilt cp which is a cp used in the forge... (a recursive forge) rather than the raven's fire.

Info is just so people know for now. Will chase an imm (Nep) in game and post when fixed. Will ask for the handle and 3.5m forge cost to be reimbursed. Recursive issue shows on eqlist as well.

Fixed the typo in the Raven's Fire forge.
It should forge the correct item now.

Neptune did you mod Executioner's Pupils in Prison by any chance for the Winterblade Forge? 135 kills now and nothing. Wealth and Glory seems to suggest the item still pops. I'm nearing that point where I am a bit suspicious... most things in sloth pop within 100 kills.

EDIT: Beware Maniac may have identified some issues last night that may mean the pupil's won't pop. He's email the other imms for comment. Best not to cycle them for now.
