Phase 2 of the changes for the thief class are now live. This change introduces the following new skills:

Level 31 thief skill: Vanish
- Active skill that removes the player from all combat, making them (potentially) invisible to everyone for a period of time
- Period of time dependent on position of thief in class order
- Sanctuary still makes you visible even when vanished, so dark cloak will be necessary to overcome that
- Requires the use of white powder, purchased in stores
- Vanish effect is removed when you move rooms

Level 35 thief prime skill: Garrote
- Opening attack that can only be used when (1) Mob is not in battle, (2) Mob is not hemorrhaging, (3) Mob can see two or less PC's in the room, and either (4a) the mob is undamaged, or (4b) the mob can't see you because of vanish.
- Does some damage (~60% of a single stab), causes the mob to hemorrhage for 30 seconds.
- While hemorrhaging, the mob will hemorrhage blood once every 6 seconds, and its output damage will be lowered by a moderate amount.

Level 1 avatar skill: Fan of knives
- Similar to flurry, but for stabbing weapons, costs *a lot* more than flurry, and lasts *a lot* longer than flurry.
- For thief prime, adds 2 attacks per round, for thief secondary adds 1 or 2 attacks per round, and for everyone else, adds 1 attack per round.

Level 7 avatar thief prime skill: Shadow mastery
- Passive skill that upgrades vanish dramatically by removing the requirement for the white powder and enables the vanish effect to remain intact when moving rooms (introduces a prediction-like effect for thief primes).

Level 36 avatar thief prime skill: Embrace the shadows
- Passive skill that upgrades vanish yet again by performing a squelch (similar to the pipe ('|') command) and cancels all lag on the player when vanish is executed.

For those of you who feel like your prime class needs balancing in some aspect of the game, feel free to post ideas on the forum (don't just criticize, because that's easy to do and helps nothing).

FYI, one of the files didn't get populated on the game machine, so garrote is missing all of it's messages. This will be fixed soon.
