An Isatar is a player who is dedicated to helping teach newbies the ways
of SlothMUD. All those with the rank of Isatar are hand picked by the
creators, and have a great deal of mudding experience on SlothMUD.

Isatars are lower level characters played by players who have higher level
characters and a vast knowledge of the SlothMUD world and game play style.

All those with the title of Isatar will have it shown prior to their name
as a type of Pre-Title. They will always be level 20 prime or under, as
this will allow them to go anywhere a newbie may travel.

A sample of someone on the who list that is an isatar would look like:

[20w 20m 20c 12t] ISATAR Tisha the newbie helper.

Also, the Isatar pre-title will be set in the color red to help stand out
even more to those players that choose to use our color system. To turn
the SlothMUD color system on, just type color and it will be turned on.

If you seek the help of someone who is an Isatar, please feel free to ask
them for help either by tell playername Can you help me, or use the newbie
channel.

If you are someone who wishes to become an Isatar and help newbies learn the
ways of sloth, please email Blaster or Splork at blaster@slothmud.org and.
splork @slothmud.org. They will always be willing to talk to you and give
you more details about the Isatar program. Please understand, we are
looking for those players who know the mud very well and are able to teach
the true new players the ways of our game. Being an Isatar has its own
special rewards.
