Some clarification

Information about the druid class

Postby Prometheus » Wed Nov 24, 2004 1:58 pm

Well I don't have much to contribute, but I'd just like to say zeizel, check your regen again, check if you were thirsty/hungry, poisoned, diseased, anything, because 20 is WAY too low for a druid of your levels. Synergy, a level 32 druid with somewhere around +10 from eq gets something like 90 sleeping outside. So, if you're getting 20 you personally are getting the shaft... the druid class holds it own I've found :)

Out of curiousity, could someone post the stats for the mythic forms? Think all of the ones up to Dragon are pretty well known.

BINGO! I double checked this tonight (between a spell warning and expiry), and it was 74 mana / tick. That certainly sounds more like it! I didn't realize being hungry / thirsty affected regen rates so much. Thanks!

The idea of giving more specific power to Prime Druid or weaking down nonprime sound really good.
I play druid prime and stuly speaking i'm getting jealous that my friends playing druid 3rd or even 4th have the same abilities as I do...

That is not fair i think. What is the point in playing Dr Prime then?

Ne/Dr is far more powerful....

Dr Prime has a nice prime spell. Also Prime druid doesn't have -% shift
like Dr 2nd, 3rd, or 4th. Same goes with Dr Prime mana regen.

Alexdmage is wrong.
You can get -1.0 shiftable
you have to have the maple leaf brooch and the new
twisted thorn cloaks on neck and dolphinskins. Druid
primes get a LOT more hitpoints while shifted than non
primes. Ne/Dr is still considerably more powerful. I
am personally considering Ne/Ba/Cl/Mo...another newb.
yay.
The perfect blend of poetry and meanness..

I don't know if ur summons would do a massive amount of dam if they
get +7dam from ur song at 2x40. Sure hum... JuJu and Wraiths gets a
good amount of attacks +7dam can add up fast... But still going to be a
long fight in the long run :)

Yo 13, someone resurrected a dead thread. AlexD posted way back in 2004, there were no thorns in game at the time.
