Shift returning back from ferret, sometimes leaves you with about double the amount of hp's the ferret had.

Human Form = 500hp
Shift Ferret Form = 25hp
Shift Return Human Form = 50hp

Shift return back from dragon to human form, nearly always looses 50hp's, if you were full in human form before you shifted.

Human Form = 660hp
Shift Dragon = 1450hp
Shift Return Human Form = 600hp

On a few occasions I have quaffed potions in inv, like mobs do? I've checked my scripts for quaff scripts and I have none.

Sometimes mobs suddenly die, IE, in 5-10 rounds shorter than the duration you'd expect. I once killed the pale lantern fish in murkwood in 1 round without using breath weapons. *flex*

There is a strength bug on occasions, when you shift and unshift, all of a sudden you can't pick stuff up anymore. You have to rent and re-enter the game.

Sure it isn't an afk bug/feature? I get that a lot and it gets spendy.

I also find another shift bug.

After shifting, mid-fight I will no longer be able to see my inventory or anything on the ground, like the mob's corpse. Seems to be a random occurrence. I can fight the same mob, with the same eq and spells, 10 times and it might happen two or three times.

This of course has killed me a number of times.

The fix is easy enough, change rooms after you shift return to human. However, it is not a good fix in the middle of aggros or in no exit rooms

Hmm, I think I know what your talking about there, but I don't think I have ever had it happen to me as long as darksight was up. As a consequence I keep darksight up as a perm spell.

A bug I have noticed is that if the normal fly spell drops on you while shifted into a form that can fly innately, you still fall. You shouldn't fall unless you return from flying form. I've almost died a couple times because of this.

Regarding not being able to see inventory: remember that when you shift your light drops into your inventory. With infravision alone, you can't see inanimate objects like those in your inventory or corpses. You can see will o wisp for shiftable light.

Regarding strength issues: My guess is that you might just be noticing the difference between shifted strength and human form strength. I don't know, I've never had a problem with it or had to rent. I can of course carry a lot with above 18/100 strength when shifted, so when I return I often can't carry anything because I'm already overloaded.

Regarding ferret hp: That one is really annoying.

Regarding dragon hp: You probably have eq that bestows +50hp . When you shift, eq drops into inventory and your max is no longer 650, but 600 because you aren't wearing the EQ that gives you the extra 50. So when you shift back, your max hp is 600, then you immediately wear the other eq again and your maxhp jumps up, but you have to regen those hp now. Hopefully that made sense.

This symptomizes a situation in which you have infravision but not darksight or an equipped light. Few lights have CAN-SHAPESHIFT, so unless you happen to use one, expect to see these symptoms in any dark room while shifted.

If you truly saw these symptoms inconsistently despite holding the factors you mentioned constant, this must be a mob that wanders from room to room, some dark and some not.

Sloth does have an actual bug with non-CAN-SHAPESHIFT lights and shapeshift. If you grab such a light, shift, and then return, the light will appear in your equipped items list, but it will not illuminate the room. Removing the light and grabbing it again fixes the problem.

There's also a bug where shiftable lights "turn off" while you're shifted (it appears to correspond to getting/putting from a container while shifted). Removing and holding the light fixes it though.

My mana regen varies by 1-2 points from time to time as well. I'm wearing the same eq, and the same spells are up, I might even be regening in the same room, but there is often a 1-2 point variation. I'll post some proof in time, cause I figure you all won't believe me!

I have found that while shifted and then returning, half my drachma keeps disappearing, to the point that I have now only got 1 drachma from a total of 1865.
Could I please be reimbursed for this. :roll:

Also, paid a visit to Posiedon's Realm. While there I forgot to cast water breath, so I shifted into a sea dragon. Guess sea dragons are like boats, being as they are not able to water breath.

I quaff potions so often in inv, that I set this one up... I brought two red potions and went to dark dreams just to try force it to happen... it happened on the second sash I tried to kill...

About the losing 60 hps.

I have only 606 hp without eq. However if I shift at full health, and I still have 18 con, why can't I shift back to 18 con with eq with full health?

It would seem shift return uses my nat con, not my con with eq.
