Show effect on bardic songs?

Postby Tetsulunathaya » Thu Oct 14, 2004 8:39 pm

Hey,

Been playing about a month now, and had a few issues i think might be able to be brought up.

The main thing I would like to see would be some sort of comment to show songs are acutally working. 1/2 of the songs give no hint whether they take effect or not, you sing and hope it works. Most other abilities that effect mobs had some sort of comment to say wheather they work or not (blind, curse, web, weaken, silence, etc.) it would be good to know whether you songs are taking effect too

Something like:" the mob starts to sing along " or something for Sanctuary of the soul, "the mob is soothed by your song" for sacred reprieve...etc.

Just an idea....every other class is fully aware whether their abilities are working or not...would be nice for the bard to have the same.

Less important, and not as necessary...it would be nice to be able to have some way of seeing what your friendly songs are affecting too. Sure the target sees, but you dont know, as the bard, who all you are getting. [this might help for large groups with multiple bards, if primary sees he missed so and so with gods, the secondary bard can sing and target to get them...etc.

Thanks!

*Bump*

Pretty pls at least implement a change to gods so that the bard sees something like:

You start singing 'Gods of War'
Alias is inspired by your song!
Draco is inspired by your song!
Rub is inspired by your song!
etc...

Singing isn't fun when you're never certain that you're actually doing anything.

Cheers,
