okay i have come across a difficult problem ....the school computer have been blocking alot of things lately in my area this include websites,downloading,and even email i have bypass most of that but it seems i am unable to connect to slothmud possibly because of the blocking and i never played this before ill really appreciate it if someone can help me bypass this problem....


note i have been useing telnet

If you can use telnet...then download zmud or wintin95 on a flash (usb) drive and run it from that drive. If you don't have access to telnet then your prob not gonna be able to bypass the filter. If the school is good at what they do then you prob won't be able to access the mud due to settings on the proxy or isa server.

you could set up a vpn to your home and connect from there to the mud.
or if your really hard up you could do remote desktop to your home system and play that way.

OKay i have downloaded wintin 95 and still it wont connect i have thought of a way to bypass this but im still not sure if it will work ...okay i have several websites like https://goldtunnel.com that bypass school blocking not if i can get wintin to go to connect to that i can then connect to slothmud...?

If u setup ur home PC as a proxy server, can you connect from a work pc
to the house and mud? Doesn't the firewall detect the house pc as another
server and blocks it?

Since now I currently work as a Bank of America employee, and the bank's
firewall is some tought $hit.

Im sure your bank does some vpn or remote desktop to access other sites in their org. All you need to do is find out which port is open for the connection and you can set your vpn or remote desktop client to use that port to connect to your home computer and do anything on it that you would normally do...ie mud surf whatever...because its running on your computer not theirs.

an online proxy will let you surf places normally blocked but not mud ect thus the need to vpn or remote out.
