Moria is just a great place to die in general. It's not too bad if you got a smart group. Oddly, in my experience, the more people you bring with you, the better your odds of things getting screwed up. And Moria is very unforgiving.

Fight Smaug like a stab mob and not a chop mob. Pretend you want to kill him as fast as hes killing you.

Plagiarizing Areas

Postby 13 » Sat Feb 17, 2007 10:13 am

I hate Moria for two reasons.

I remember when Dug had to dumb down WestWood and change a bunch of mob names because it was too close to WoT copyright infringement. As if Robert Jordan is going to play Sloth and then bring a lawsuit. Well after that Judge put in not one, but TWO plagiarized areas. Moria and the Unseen University.

What's that breeze?
It's Moria. It sucks.

Moria

Postby Avatar » Tue Feb 20, 2007 1:16 am

I like Moria, it's fun to have some areas that are more difficult than average.

It's funny to be smacked through force fields and through closed, locked doors. I've always thought force fields should be more useful in general.

A) kill a mob = corpse, coins, and pops fall to the room below. force field down = corpse, coins, and pops fall onto the force field but no further.

B) shooting mobs = pain right through the force field. force field west = some blocked shots before the force field falls.
