That's the inefficient way of doing it. In general, you should look at the skills/spells that you're close to achieving that will make a significant impact on how well you can kill mobs. Go for levels to achieve those. If it's not obvious what you should go after, choose the class that is the least xp to level in.

In general, the only reason to stay on Valk for too long is to get Valk equipment or pop tri tokens to get stats.
