Cleric Stat Ordering

Postby 12345 » Wed Jan 05, 2005 4:26 pm

Druids and Clerics both have Wis for a prime stat.

Why does a Druid/Cleric have a stat order of Wis/Int/Dex/Con/Str and a Cleric/Druid have a stat order of Wis/Dex/Int/Str/Con?

Even more fun, Bards have a prime stat of Dex, but a Cleric/Bard has a stat order of Wis/Int/Str/Dex/Con and a Bard/Cleric has a stat order of Dex/Wis/Int/Con/Str.

Was just curious since I was admiring Malfoy...

Good point. I've wondered about this myself. Interesting things seem to happen with the stat ordering whenever the first and second class share the same prime stat. Check a necro/mage or mage/necro...... a thief/bard for instance has dex then int as the second stat!

Normally, stats are ordered based on whatever your prime class is - but then your first stat of your secondary class is bumped up to the second slot, making your stats prime first, second first, prime next, prime next, prime next.

If you have prime and second with the same first class, then the stat bumped up to your second spot is the second stat of your secondary class - so it goes prime first, second second, prime next, prime next, prime next.

This does make for some interesting combinations. I always thought it should be that none of your stats were bumped, but that wasn't the way it was built.

Thieves roll str 3rd, why don't monks?? Make's more sense to me
since a monk is a fighter (closer to warrior than a thief).
