hey there, i am new to this, i have gotten to the scrteen where it says input charactwer name, i do this and it shows up.....and then asks me for a password......when i enter this it tells me i am wrong......i am using mushclient.....any suggestions

Are you getting the message, I don't know of [character name]. Do you wish to create a new character (Y/N)?

If not, then someone already has a character with that name. Good luck logging in & hope you enjoy slothmud!

That was always one thing I thought was annoying for new players, but was never "that_important" to be addressed for someone that plays SlothMUD or any mud for that matter. People new to mudding can get confused very easily.

It would be nice if said:

"Please enter the password for the pre-existing character or type "redo" to try a different name for your hero."
