How to compare +2 dex to armor

Is it better to have +2 dex or -1 armor

If possible, you always want to have 18 dex, since it's -4.0 AC. Every dex point above 14 is -1.0 ac.

If you can't get to at least 15 dex, don't even worry about trying, go for the AC. If you have 18 dex, again, ignore dex and go for AC.

If you have 14 dex and have the choice of wearing a +dex bracelet or a -.3 bracelet, you have to figure that the dex is -1.0 extra AC, which makes it at least -.7 better than the -.3 bracelet. If the dex won't help you, the -.3 bracelet is probably better.

Net effect, you'll have to do the match to figure out which is better.
