random disconnects

I have been getting disconnected from the game for the last few weeks.. several others i talked to have had the same problem.

Originally thought it was on my side, but having not changed anything in months on this machine.. and having others with same disconnect problem.. i am thinking its the mud...

I loose link with it.. but am still connected in other windows..

does not matter what alt i am on..

Also. always when i try and reconnect it boots me again at the 'y' prompt.. then next time it works.

I have no such problems these days.
And i think question to break old connection happens when you switching ip address. So maybe it some quick issues at your isp. Which you cant catch at any browsers, since its just instant link break and then its back.

You can try to ping something at constant basis, even slothmud site. To see, if there are lost packets when you lost connection to the mud.
