Slothmud III MaproomCurtis the Cartographer"Oooooh, a visitor. Come in, come in, it's been so long since I've had a visitor, nobody seems to care about maps any more. My name is Curtis, what's yours? No matter, come in. My goodness you're the burly type, an adventurer I bet, I've got just what you need, anything and everything that can be mapped, I have. Thordfalan, Thule, Niebelung, Thalassas, Lyme, you name it, I got it. You don't talk much do you?" "Oh hey, while I'm thinking about it, would you be interested in seeing our most recent purchases? Some of our adventurers have been able to contribute lately, and I have the newest maps arranged by the date I received them." You quickly seize your chance to shut this lonely soul up. From the looks of him, he probably hasn't had a visitor in years, let alone a bath. A quick look around shows a marvelously well organized shop, with row after row of parchments. Curtis was probably right when he said he had every map you could ever want. You begin to ask him where you can find a particular map, but your time is short, and his speeches aren't. Best to find it on your own. As you turn away from him, you notice an intricately detailed map of the world (thanks, Falca!) held to the wall by daggers in each corner. A list of boats and other vessels is sewn to the bottom of the map. Please let Enea know of any errors you find in the maps. Also, if you have explored an area for which we do not currently have a map, please let the other adventurers in the world have access to it. Submissions are always welcome! |
